Description
"fodda - feeding the earth" is an organically certified Soil Enhancer and General Fertiliser.
Dismayed by the amount of coffee grounds filling up landfills we decided to experiment (business partners - ex Cafe owner Dianne and eco-conscious Soil Scientist Andreas) with different concoctions on both indoor and outdoor plants, with great results.
The coffee grounds are solar dried and mixed with Charcoal (another waste product), marine products, crushed rock and sawdust.
Tests have shown fodda enhances the growth of plants, is non-toxic, non-residue, biodegradable, odour free (you will not get all the pets in the neighbourhood digging up your garden) and discourages slugs and snails (they detest the caffeine).
fodda increases soil temperature, enhances the growth of beneficial soil micro-organisms and creates a nitrogen depot in the soil.
