Description
The Windy Waves Bed and Breakfast Suite is located in its own private wing of a new, eco-friendly beach house with solar heating, double glazing, extra insulation and panoramic views to the sea. The suite is spacious and the bathroom includes a spa bath and separate shower. All toiletries and cleaning products are eco-friendly.
Continental breakfasts are provided with fresh free range eggs, the option of unpasturized milk straight from the dairy shed, home made yoghurt and bread, and only New Zealand manufactured cereals.
Enjoy a quiet environment and easy walks to the beach, Hydrabad shipwreck, the forest and two cafes. If you like the outdoors there’s plenty to do here. You can’t beat an early evening walk on the beach as the sun is setting. We’re part of the Nature Coast, but round here we like to call it the sunset coast. Surf casting is another popular early evening activity - just as the tide is turning is the peak time to catch snapper, gurnard and kahawai. The forest provides great entertainment for either walking or cycling. A Bowling Green is just across the road and Tennis Court just over the hill. But if you prefer a more leisurely activity, we have provided a good selection of books or how about relaxing in the spa bath with a glass of wine.
