Snakes & Ladders Group Ltd works in the area of people performance and people problems in the workplace. We provide solutions and systems for the ups and downs of business and challenges relating to employing people.

We acknowledge that one of the greatest issues management face is the litigious exposure from poor recruitment, loose contract negotiation and unclear performance expectations. As well staff who operate with deep resentments, defensive actions and who feel their personal security is rightly or wrongly, at risk, undermine organisational performance, success and are ultimately unsustainable.

Clients can choose all or one of three key function areas - human resource management services, training and coaching.

A large majority of our clients are company’s that don’t require a full time HR person but understand that top line performance, productivity and behaviour are a result of excellent HR management.

SME clients find contracting out their HR management stops them second guessing what they can and cannot do. As well, staff who have well defined and fully documented expectations, are more productive, enjoy higher job satisfaction and are more fully engaged – key aspects to a sustainable organisation.

Larger clients use our training and coaching services because we have a proven record and have helped so many people to get great results in dealing with difficult people.

Our HR management services include recruitment, Employment Agreements, policies and procedure documents, job design, setting performance measures, performance management and review, training plans, career development and exit interviews; in fact every aspect of selection, direction, support and development of people in the workplace.

Our training under the Corporate Tough LOVE® banner has three key focus areas and is delivered in house or in public workshops.

Corporate Tough LOVE® is regularly held nationally in 1 day or ½ day workshops.

Stage 1 helps managers deal with ‘people problems’ in a decisive and dignified manner based on good faith and legal fairness. This workshop is the turning point in learning to manage difficult people effectively; protecting businesses from litigation and costly repercussions.

Stage 2 introduces managers to engagement and retention strategies that build a sustainable business in a proactive manner. Actively managing the 6 areas of engaging staff is critical to being an effective manager.

Stage 3 is 1:1 executive coaching. The things that make each one of us unique are often the very things that cause us the most stress, frustration, fear and/or
disappointment and irritation. Addressing needs as they arise is not only strategic but cost effective as results and benefits can be very immediate.
