A Certified Financial Planner since 1993, Rodger’s PhD explored responsible business and responsible investment locally and internationally and included philosophy, finance, management and transformational leadership.
He is Executive Director of the New Zealand Centre for Business Ethics and Sustainable Development, a Member of the Nominating Committee of the New Zealand Superannuation Fund, New Zealand Director of the Responsible Investment Association Australasia and a Director of Transparency International (NZ). He is a former Member of the Securities Commission and has served as Executive Director of the New Zealand Business Council for Sustainable Development and New Zealand Businesses for Social Responsibility.
