Description
Xtreme Waste employs 18 local people and operates a recycling centre and transfer station, kerbside recycling, pre-paid bag refuse collection, business waste collection, street waste and recycling bins and miniskip hire. It also offers an education programme for schools, businesses and communities, funded by Waikato District Council and Environment Waikato and works in partenership with the EERST Zero Waste Education Programme.
We offer a comprehensive educational experience to schools, groups and communities who want o learn more about how a recycling centre operates. Our tours are designed to be hands on, interactive and are guided by trained education officers.
