Using funding to retrofit your home is a smart thing to do. Your home may be one of the 900,000 New Zealand homes with substandard insulation, or one of the many houses that has inadaquate or inefficient heating (e.g. an open fire).
Retrofitting your home with insulation, and clean and efficient heating can make it warmer, drier and healthier. With adaquate insulation, your house will be more comfortable, as well as easier and cheaper to heat.
