Cyclic assessment
Vision Media Systems is committed to providing equipment from a supply chain of companies that implement measures aimed at reducing the environmental impact of their products throughout their life cycles. These measures range from performing assessments at the planning, design and engineering stages, to setting targets for reducing power consumption and using upto 82% of recycled equipment to manufacture the next generation of equipment.
Solar assessment
VMS are the first Carbon Neutral Audio Visual provider to be accredited in New Zealand. To achieve this we have undertaken a rigorous three step process involving: the measurement of GHG emissions; the implementation of a GHG reduction strategy; and the acquisition of carbon credits to offset any unavoidable emissions supporting such projects as the Te Apiti windfarms.. Our Carbon Footprint will be reassessed annually with a view to making further reductions.
