Description
My fascination with the tea ceremony lead me onto a series of experiments with the humble teacup.
Why not find a new use for all the abandoned teacups collecting dust in the Salvation shops? After exploring various concepts around the teacup, I discovered that by slicing the teacup up into rings using a diamond cutter, it could be transformed into an elegant bangle. Recycling vintage porcelain teacups into bangles using a diamond cutter and then smoothing off the edges with a grinder so there are no nasty sharp bits.
These bangles are fairly resistant but be carefull not to drop it on a hard surface or offend your Nana by raiding her China cabinet.
