MATA, meaning Rawness, Freshness, Edge, is also "a beer from the edge" of the world, New Zealand. MATA is brewed with "only" Certified Organic Artesian Water, collected from the source and transported to the brewery. MATA water comes from an Artesian bore 1000Ft underground, and has undergone natural rock filtration for over 1800 years before it reaches the surface. MATA is the only beer certified by the NZ Vegetarian Society to contain no meat or animal products (in the production processes or raw materials) and be GE Free. No preservatives, additives, finings, animal products or added sugars, are used.
