Heke design was born from a passion for recycling, a background in fashion and a whole lot of creative, artistic energy.
-After learning how much clothing and textile waste goes into landfill, and the environmental damage from mass production of cotton goods, designer Bea Lorimer felt it was important to do things differently.
Heke design creates unique fashion using our existing resources.
Clothing is cut from locally sourced, vintage and re-claimed textiles.
This makes each item a unique, colourful, one of a kind piece, and leaves no carbon footprint.
