The Property Market is a new real estate agency making a break from the traditional industry model. We’ve designed a structure that makes buying and selling a positive and rewarding experience and we do everything we can to make the process more efficient.

So our salespeople focus only on selling (rather than building their own profile or looking for their next listing) to ensure our clients get the best possible service and we don’t have teams of administrators or branch offices on every street corner. We use cost efficient online tools to market the properties we sell rather than expensive press ads and we generate most of the documentation around a sale online so we’re not wasting paper or other valuable resources. We’ve centralized our database and we provide our subscribers with market intelligence using paperless communications tools like email newsletters, Twitter, Facebook and our blog.

All of this means our business is less expensive to run so we can afford to charge a fairer and performance-based fee – just 1% up to CV and 5% on the remainder above it (plus GST.) So far our clever little fee has saved our clients an average of 49% of the cost of the big agencies and we’ve brought down the up-front cost of marketing to a fraction of the traditional agencies.
