The Windflow 500 turbine is a 500kW, two bladed turbine which incorporates advanced mechanical and electrical features resulting in a cost-effective and robust design. The turbine is designed for New Zealand's strong and turbulent winds. One turbine produces enough power to approximately 200 average households.
The Windflow 500 won the Sustainable Business award for product design and innovation - large, for the southern region in 2007.
