At the Air Force Museum we understand that all activities create environmental and social impacts. We are no exception. Where we have control, and influence, we actively promote ways in which we can minimise adverse effects by reducing waste, being energy efficient, conserving water, recyling materials and providing assistance to our community. The Air Force Museum of New Zealand is also the first museum in New Zealand to be awarded the Enviro-Silver standard by Qualmark, New Zealand tourism's official Quality Agency and is also a taking part in the Christchurch City Council's Target Sustainability.
