Ecofabric: sustainable style in fabrics, dry goods and haberdashery. The business is based on the 'cradle to cradle' model where everything is easy to recycle or compost.
The first fabric is upholstery weight hemp, which is an environmentally friendly fiber because it doesn't need pesticides, herbicides, defoliants, fertilizers or excessive water. it was shipped to New Zealand, printed in Otara with Oeko-tex 100 standard inks.
The fabrics have been tested by isotope testing by GNS to see whether they are, as claimed to be organic. One is definitely organic the second fabric has to be tested further to be conclusive.
Haberdashery includes wooden and vegetable ivory buttons made from the Tagua palm providing an income from the wild rain forest thereby ensuring the community and the rainforest remain. supporting its and wooden buttons, natural fiber haberdashery trims including organic cotton lace.
Everything has been checked to see if it is made fairly.
