1.) PEFC (Programme for the Endorsement of Forest Certification schemes)
This is an independent, non-profit, non-governmental organization which promotes sustainably managed forests through independent third party certification. This offers customers and consumers the option to choose products from environmentally and socially responsible and economically viable forestry.
2.) M1 (Emission classification of building materials)
The aim of the classification is to enhance the development and use of low-emitting building materials so that material emissions do not increase the requirement for ventilation. The classification presents requirements for the materials used in ordinary work spaces and residences.
3.) ISO 14001 (Environmental management standards)
This certification exist to help organizations to minimize how their operations negatively affect the environment. In order for an organization to be awarded an ISO 14001 certificate they must be externally audited by an audit body that has been accredited by UKAS.
