The philosophy at Kaeppelis Bed and Breakfast is to have their guests feel at home, which means they can really relax, unwind and free themselves from the pressures of their everyday life. At Kaeppelis Bed and Breakfast you can be yourself, enjoy the natural environment, and pamper the pets if you wish. It is no wonder people come for one day and stay a week. This happens often in Kaeppeli's B&B, as the Coromandel is such a beautiful part of New Zealand. So much to see. So much to do. Leave the car at home for the day and enjoy the beautiful 5km bushwalk which starts right at our doorstep, stopping off for a swim at Rings Beach before going bush again back home.
Kaeppeli's has extensive organic gardens and orchard. We recycle, use energy saving lightbulbs, have cotton sheets, wool and feather duvets and pillows, solar and gas water heating, use a low energy washing cycle and laundry is dried outside in the fresh air. We are mindful of what products we buy, how they are packaged and where they come from. Local products being a priority. Guests are served organic Fair Trade coffee. We use environmentally friendly cleaning products.
We are actively involved in Kauri 2000, replanting the Coromandel in Kauri.
