All carpet tile is certified by SGS International to be climate neutral [from production of the raw materials such as nylon, transportation of raw materials and finished product, vacuuming and maintenance and recovery at the end of life – we call this our cool carpet program] and InterfaceNZ as a local organisation in New Zealand, is certified carbon neutral by the carboNZero program.
Our Re-Entry program will also take back old PVC backed carpet tile to post-consumer recycle back into new carpet tile saving both the precious embodied energy in the tile and ensuring that we don't fill our declining NZ landfill resource any faster than it needs to.
