OfficeMax has also obtained Enviro-Mark NZ Gold certification for our key sites in New Zealand. Our new purpose-build National Head Office has been built to Green Star 4 specifications.

Environmental impact is a consistent factor in the selection of our products, both in the way they are manufactured and the environmental impact they have after use. We ensure that all our copy paper is sourced from sustainable forests and that our toner cartridges are re-manufactured without any compromise to output quality. At OfficeMax, we strongly support recycling practices and where indicated our range can be recycled through existing recycling programmes.

OfficeMax’s EcoMax range of over 300 products has exceptionally high environmental credentials. These products have been selected by us because they meet our strict criteria for inclusion and they offer guaranteed environmental advantages over alternative products in their category. Each product that qualifies for one of these credentials has it clearly displayed.
