Womens Fashion label that uses Organic & Natral Fabrics to create Quality,comfortable Clothing with a distinctive NZ Designer Look & Feel.
Shikoba Manufactures its collections locally, and collaborates with local textile artist Ali Max to produce distintive NZ prints which are also printed locally.
Shikoba is operated from the Waikato home studio of Owner/Designer Aroha Wikotu. This operation has less impact on the enviroment than a commercial type dwelling by using shared ammenities with the home and less fuel costs for travel to and from work. Waste is minimised by efficient production practices, recyling and re-using. On average we still manage to use 1 rubbish bag a week and that is combined house & business waste.
